Lakeville firefighters get special thanks from cow after lawn mower fire

LAKEVILLE, Mass. (WLNE) — The Lakeville Fire Department got some special thanks for their work Tuesday night and shared photos of the encounter.

The department said they responded to call at a local residence for a lawnmower on fire.

Officials said the homeowner was able to keep the fire under control until firefighters arrived and were able to quickly extinguish it.

After the fire was put out, the department said Henry, a steer owned by the family, came out and made sure to thank them up close and personal.

The department said Henry also had a close eye on the entire operation.
